Timeless

Xero strolled down the dark alleyway, her raven black hair swayed as she walked. She picked up her cell phone her voice calm sweet "Hello?" She looked behind her and shoved her cell into her back pocket.
She jumped up grabbing the fire escape and climbed up hearing foot steps, she ran up reaching the roof and looked over the edge and jumped to the next roof rolling across it and stopped panting.
Xero looked back to the other roof and seen a man stop at the edge and turned around, she rolled herself up and ran opening the roof door and ran down the stairs.
Her breathing fast as she heard someone coming and a muffled voice with it, she looked and knocked on a door and asked to come in and closed the door behind her.
She could hear them going up the stairs, she went to the window and climbed onto the fire escape and ran down reaching the ground. She looked back and smiled seeing the men running down it, she ran and was turning the corner but stopped as a gun was at her temple.
Xero looked "Hello Jinx hows the job?" she smirked the men reached the bottem and tied her hands behind her back. She hissed "Easy!" they all just smiled at her and placed her into the car and started to drive.
She didnt remember falling asleep but she woke up tied in a chair now, she looked around and noticed needles, her heart raced now. Xero looked at Jinx walking in with a man with white on she looked her voice showed her fear "Please Jinx you know how I feel about needles" her gaze went to the man picking the needle up and cleaned her arm his voice horse "you may feel this" he stuck it in and Xero's muscles jerked, she went limp and asleep again.



Xero woke up in a areana and looked around, her body still tense from the needle Jinx's voice rang out "Welcome all to this fine Battle of Time!" He smiled at Xero "Please bring out the others!"
Xero looked seeing 3 other men walk out they were almost made of muscles, a sword was beside her she grabbed it fast and it went on fire with a blue flame, she didnt understand.
The other men ran at her, she closed her eyes and opened them instead of the blue and brown they were they turned Blood red, She ran at them the sword dragged behind her.
She lifted it and time seemed to slow down for her and she ducked and swung getting the first man then the next leaving the last with a deep wound. Xero looked around as time slowly came back to normal.
Xero looked to Jinx seeing him grin she thought *what did that needle do to me?*
